TANDEM PARACHUTE JUMP
For those who need some extreme dose of adrenaline we offer tandem parachute jumps, which are nothing else then jump in one parachute with the instructor. Impressions and feelings are nearly the same as during the “solo” jump – or maybe even better. This kind of jumping into the air from the plane is possible for everyone, because there are no special requirements to be met. There is no need to make any medical tests and you don’t have to know any rules before first jump. In one word – there is one of the most satisfying, unusual and exciting way of spending free time in Poland.

GLIDING
Gliding could be a casual hobby, but first of all it is the best way to get airborne. Undoubtedly there is no other such a graceful way of flying for people as gliding. It is all because gliders haven’t got any engines. The most interesting question is how to get airborne and how to stay up in the air? Gliders come in many sizes and shapes. If you decide to try them with us – you will not need to worry about your own equipment. Our aero – club have 2 - seater gliders for instructional purposes and also single – seater, for those having gliding license.

PLACE
We encourage you to spend your free time in the sky – parachuting is almost like knocking to the heavens door. The civil airport “Przylep”, near Zielona Góra (which is one of the biggest cities in south - western Poland), is a perfect place to start your parachuting adventure. The civil airport and aero – club “Przylep” was established about 40 years ago and since then, working to establish its reputation, has been one of the best known aero - clubs in Poland.

TIME
The jumping season starts in March, when the airport field is dry and lasts until late autumn.

ITINERARY:

WHAT WILL WE DO?
Each package in our “Visit in the sky” offer contains one tandem parachute jump and one gliding session – both with experienced instructor. If you feel like you were born to get airborne you can buy some extra jumps and gliding sessions (as listed below). Each package offers accommodation (of your choice), 2 meals a day (Half Board), all transfers and an escort during your stay.

RULES FOR PARACHUTE AND GLIDING ENTHUSIASTS:

There is no need to undergo medical tests;
Course before jump or gliding is also not necessary, because you are supported by the instructor during all the duration of the jumping or gliding event;
Highest quality equipment provided;
Price includes insurance;
There are no specific counter - indications against the tandem parachuting jump, excluding only serious diseases; Disabled people are welcomed;

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:

EXTRA JUMPING:
Single tandem parachute jump cost 170 EUR/per person, jump with the video during all jump cost 230 EUR/per person. Prices for the groups from 3 persons and more are: 150 EUR/per person and with video – 210 EUR.

EXTRA GLIDING:
Single fly around the airport field behind the rope costs 30 EUR/person. Single fly behind the aircraft costs 45 EUR/person.

HORSE RIDING:
Zielonogórski Horse Riding Club is located in the neighborhood of the airport grounds. There are 30 horses, indoor paddock with auditorium, small hall, roofed place for grill for 80 persons, 2 outdoor paddocks, completely equipped cross obstacles course (free ride). The club offers horse riding lessons, for more experienced - horse riding on the paddock, free ride, 2-5 day horse trips. Prices on request.

USEFUL INFORMATION:

WHAT KIND OF PREPARATIONS FOR THE JUMP DO YOU NEED TO MAKE?
Preparations for this kind of jumps are very easy. Training of a new passenger-jumper takes about 15 – 20 minutes. Instructor explains all the necessary details on the technique, use of equipment and communication. After some easy exercises you can safety try your luck in the air. Most preparations are taken onboard the plane, on the approximate height of 4.000 meters. About 1000 meters higher your are ready to leave the plane, by making…a nice jump. Don’t worry, instructor’s harness is attached to yours, and what is more he/she can even use break in the air (it’s a small, additional parachute). So your average speed up their, thousands of meters away from the land, will range from 200-300km/h (depending whether the break used or not).The big parachute is opened usually on the height of 1800-1600 meters, and after that it takes about 10 min to descend. And you can be sure – the feeling of standing back on the ground safe and sound if incomparable to anything you have tried as far.

WHAT KIND OF REQUIREMENTS DO YOU NEED TO MEET?
Everyone who doesn’t suffer from epilepsy, serious heart disease, has no serious circulatory system problems, whose weight doesn’t exceeds 100 kilos and whose height is not more than 140 cm can try tandem parachuting jumps. Disabled people are welcomed.

IS PARACHUTING SAFE?
Tandem parachute jumps are the safest out of all extreme sports, because tandem instructor is always experienced, competent and well trained. The parachute equipment is specially designed for 2 persons. All the technical security devices are double. The equipment used during our events has also special electronic security system which – in case of emergency - opens immediately spare parachute. Jump with instructor should be nothing else than just pure pleasure for the Client;-))

HOW DOES GLIDING WORK?
Every glider needs some help with the launch. There are several ways of doing this. The aerotow is very docile and involves being pulled up by a light aircraft with a strong rope in between. When the glider gets to required height (about 600 – 800 meters), the glider releases the cable, and it all starts! Winch launching is probably the most common. This involves being attached to a winch with a long reel of wire. When the wire gets pulled in, the glider gets the speed to fly into the air like a kite. The time of the fly takes about half an hour or longer and let to fly outside the airport field.

WHAT KIND OF REQUIREMENTS DO YOU NEED TO MEET FOR GLIDING?
For gliding there is no need to undergo any special medical tests and only really serious disease can be an obstacle to try this kind of sport. In case of discomfort – the Clients always gets the plastic bags... Before getting into the glider an instructor explains rules applying to staying in the glider during a fly and helps to get dress in parachute equipment.

FEW WORDS ABOUT PARACHUTING TRAINING
The training is much more complicated than tandem jumps – but if you wish – we will organize it for you with pleasure.
