Rock-climbing is one of Europe’s fastest growing participant sports, and for good reason. Climbing rock is both mentally and physically challenging, and the sense of achievement, having topped out on a challenging climb is incomparable. We would like to share our fascination for climbing and for Poland with everyone “on the move”. Whether you have already climbed before or you are totally inexperience – feel welcome to our active weekend. We offer you a course (2 or 3 days) and lots of attractions additionally. Just go for it!

CLIMBERS PARADISE „JURA”

Cracow – Częstochowa Upland (Jura Krakowsko – Częstochowska) is Polish climbers’ paradise. It is a large plate of Jurassic limestone, which rises on average from 300 to 500 m above sea level. Thousands of crags and rock groups make the regions perfect climbing conditions – a wide range of climbing venues and rock types, from conveniently situated, single pitch crags, to fantastic limestone creations with steep slopes and folds. Although very popular with Polish climbers, Jurassic crags are never overcrowded. Lots of pubs and bar serve as meeting point after active day in the rocks – atmosphere of enthusiasm and excited is “infectious”. Perfect place to start your advantage with climbing or develop your skills.

Rzędkowice and Podlesice – little villages in the middle of Krakowsko – Częstochowska Upland are called Mecca for Polish amateur rock climbers. Countless crags and rock groups – with diverse climbing difficulty levels, secret caves and rocky gates, gothic castles boldly standing on the highest hills, breathtaking views and incomparable atmosphere. The area is covered with thick forest, making the place quite magical and unrealistic. You will find there lots of pubs and bars with the special ambience, where the air is thick with exciting stories of climbing adventures.

COURSE

This weekend will give you the chance to learn all of the basic climbing skills. We aim to lay down a solid foundation and give you a valuable insight into climbing. Under the direct supervision of our experienced and qualified instructors you will get accustomed with the equipment and learn appropriate climbing techniques. You will cover rope work, experience climbing on several crags with different features. If we manage to spare some time we will focus on seconding, building stances and abseiling. Remember - previous experience is not required.

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY

The Polish Climbing Association has certified all of our instructors. We allow a maximum of 4 students per instructor. All necessary equipment is included in the courses below. Beginners are welcome – no experience necessary. All courses can be held in English. The minimum of 8 people is need for a course to be organized. Should you want a completely customized course you are welcome with a request.
